The Penobscot Nation Department of Natural Resources functions in an integrated, holistic way that recognizes the interconnectedness of all things in the natural world. DNR’s mission is to manage, develop, and protect the Penobscot Nation’s Natural Resources in a sustainable manner that protects and enhances the cultural integrity of the Tribe.

Alder Stream Township is a “bulls only” hunting area this year for moose. DNR will be conducting a tick monitoring program at tagging stations throughout hunting season this year.
