The St. Ann’s/Penobscot Food Pantry is a 501C non-profit organization with is located at 16 Wabanaki Way in the Sockalexis Building. Food Pantry is open every Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and on emergency basis. The food pantry provides food for low-income families and families that are having hardship putting food on the table.

Food Pantry primarily serves residents of Indian Island, Argyle, Alton, Milford, Greenbush, Milford, Bangor and Old Town area, but is open to anyone that is have food insecurity and meets the U.S Department of Agriculture Emergency Food Assistance Program income guidelines to all Native American and non­ Native families. Our client numbers have increased each week, due to high inflation. The number of people in household averages up to 200 each week.

  • Seniors: 9:30 am -10:30 am
  • General Public: 10:30 am – 12:00 noon

Volunteer support is essential to the successful operation of the food pantry to continue providing food for those who are food insecure that our in our service area.
